Interventions in Healthcare Sector

General Duty Assistant (GDA)
Prash Social Welfare Foundation has made significant strides in the healthcare sector by implementing various initiatives aimed at improving access to quality healthcare and enhancing the skills of healthcare workers. The foundation has been instrumental in training General Duty Assistants (GDAs) through NSQF-aligned programs, particularly in NABH-accredited hospitals across PAN India. These programs focus on providing essential skills in patient care, infection control, and hospital operations, thereby contributing to the improved functioning of healthcare institutions. Additionally, PSWF has distributed healthcare kits to Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in remote and underserved areas, promoting better hygiene practices and reducing health risks. The foundation’s efforts have played a vital role in bridging the healthcare skill gap, particularly in rural and economically disadvantaged regions, and have enhanced the capacity of healthcare workers to deliver patient-centered care. Through these initiatives, PSWF has made a tangible impact on both healthcare delivery and the overall well-being of communities.
